Prince was 8-months-old when he was surrendered to the ISPCA in August 2022. His owner was unable to cope due to sudden illness. He would jump about and get so excited when people came to visit him. Lurchers are one of the most loving and affectionate dog breeds and make the most wonderful family pet. They are a very friendly and gentle breed, with a quiet temperament and enjoy being with people and other dogs. They do not need a lot of grooming and after a short walk and some playtime, are happy to stretch out and gaze adoringly at you.
We were so happy when Prince was rehomed by Jonathan and his family earlier this year. We’re told “Prince is a very happy dog and brings a lot of happiness to the house.”
