Percy in love with his Forever Family

Today's Happy Tail is from Michela who adopted Percy

Today’s Happy Tail is from Michela who adopted Percy.

Here is how Percy is getting on in his new home:

“I wanted to give you an update on Percy – I adopted him in April 2022.

He is an absolute darling of a dog and will play and run all day. He settled very quickly and loves meeting people & and is a confident, happy dog. He also LOVES his couch time!

He had had chemo treatment with you at ISPCA so I get his bloods checked regularly and he is a picture of health – and nearly 30kgs so is thriving. He still is nervous going to vets but with his history they are so gentle and win him around with patience and treats.

I wanted to show it is OK to adopt a dog who has a medical history- of course it is a gamble but every healthy day with this big goofy fun dog is worth it! When I look at the photos of him when he was getting treated with you he does not look like the same dog – but thank you so much for all that you did to save him because he is so loved.

I attached a few photos for ye to see how he is doing now! Thanks again for saving Percy”

We would like to give a huge thank you to Michela for sending us this lovely update on how Percy is getting on!
