Thank You For Your Kindness this Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday, a global day of generosity and a movement that inspires people to give, collaborate, and celebrate doing good, we are reminded of the incredible power of our supporters' kindness.

Despite a difficult year in the animal welfare space, our amazing community of supporters has stood strong against animal cruelty and neglect, helping us rescue countless animals in need. Yet, our mission continues, and we still need help to be the miracle for animals in need. This Giving Tuesday—and as the year draws to a close—there are so many ways to make a difference.

01. You Can Save More Animals Like Rua

Rua endured years of misery, surviving in his own muck, until the day he was rescued by Senior Inspector Alice Lacey. Thanks to the kindness of people like you, Rua now knows what it feels like to be safe and cared for.

This Christmas, there are countless animals like Rua still waiting for their second chance. With your help, we can save them.

Until 31st December, your gift will be matched by a group of generous donors, doubling its impact. That means your €1 becomes €2, and your €50 becomes €100—helping to rescue and care for twice as many animals. Be the reason their lives change forever. Be Their Christmas Miracle.

02. Give An Animal Their Happy Ever After

Each one of our many Shelter Residents is a story of resilience, waiting desperately for the love and security of a forever home. If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry friend to your family, please adopt instead of shop. By choosing adoption, you’re not just welcoming unconditional love into your home—you’re giving an animal in need their second chance.

03. Do You Have Time To Volunteer?

Our vital work rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming Ireland’s most neglected and abused animals wouldn’t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. From offering kindness to frightened animals to helping prepare them for loving homes, ISPCA volunteers make an incredible difference every single day. Their compassion and commitment are a driving force behind every successful rehabilitation and adoption.

We are always looking for caring and committed individuals to volunteer! By joining our team, you’ll play a vital role in giving vulnerable animals the second chance they deserve.

05. What will your legacy be?

Thanks to the extraordinary generosity of individuals who have included the ISPCA in their Will, we’ve been able to make incredible progress in rescuing and protecting animals. For example, the National Animal Centre in Longford exists today because of a remarkable woman who, after ensuring her family was cared for, remembered the ISPCA in her Will. Her legacy continues to transform the lives of countless animals in need.

Please consider joining the extraordinary group of supporters and help shape a brighter future for animals in years to come.

Thank you for always standing with us. Your compassion is the miracle that changes lives.
