Storm Éowyn may have passed, but the CRISIS isn’t over.
Because of kind-hearted supporters and the dedication of staff on the ground we were prepared – ensuring food, shelter, and safety for the animals before the worst of the storm hit. But as we take stock of the aftermath, we recognise that we can’t recover from this alone.
We need the help of our loyal supporters and animal lovers around Ireland.
Some of our Centre’s were plunged into darkness—without power, water, or phone lines for days. No heating in the kennels or catteries. No way to pump fresh water. Fences that once protected the horses and donkeys in our care – destroyed, leaving them vulnerable. Fallen trees have made it dangerous to walk dogs outdoors as well as for the other animals to roam in our fields.
We’re doing everything we can to repair the damage and keep the animals comfortable, but we also need to prepare for the future. We need:
- Post and Rail Wood For Fencing
- Timber for Field Shelters
- Water Tanks 2000L
- Generators
Check out ISPCA National Animal Centre Manager Alan Coyle show how much Storm Éowyn affected us.
With extreme weather becoming more common, we must be ready! That’s why we’re working to equip our Centre’s with generators and water tanks—so next time, we won’t be left scrambling.
We urgently need your help.
If you can, please donate today. Your support will help us rebuild now and protect vulnerable animals whatever comes next. Thank you.
