Here is how Rex is getting on at his Forever Home:

Hope all is well with you guys and the animals! Just said I’d give a quick update on Rex as it’s officially been 6 months since he joined the family.

We have discovered his favourite thing is a ball made of rope. He is obsessed with them. He loves long walks and if our walk hasn’t been long enough for him he will lie down to let me know…

Rex loves running around off lead in areas he knows like the grass near our house and his recall is really starting to come through. He has went on car trips with us a few times and seems to enjoy it a lot.

He is brilliant with other dogs and loves to play with children… he does hate cats and birds though, I don’t think we have seen any in a few months as he has made sure to keep them away.

He loves to play football with his treats before eating them or just carry them around to show anyone he can find. He is brilliant on lead, without any training he just walks along with us and doesn’t pull (unless he hears a loud car) he completely ignores dogs unless he knows them.

He is really an amazing dog and family member. We do really love him and his funky personality. He is completely different to any dog we have ever met.

We are so thankful you guys reached out to us about him and I hope that all the animals in the ispca find someone who loves them like we love him!”

We would like to give a huge thank you to Bobbie, for giving us this wonderful update on how Rex is getting on! 💙
