Here is how Penny and Poppy are getting on:
“We rescued our Penny and Poppy back in July 2023. At the time the girls were very nervous and withdrawn.
It took a long time for them to learn how to walk on a lead and do normal things like playing and accepting dog treats. They were very scared of anything that made a loud sound and were petrified of the TV. This demonstrates the trauma they went through!
Now they have done a complete 360 and we couldn’t imagine our lives without our fur babies. They love cuddles, going on long walks and interacting with other dogs and learning to trust new people they meet. They now love chilling with us when the TV is on and look forward to their daily treats and belly rubs.
They are beside us in every life decision we make both big and small and are the centre of attention in our family. They bring us so much comfort, happiness and we could not love them more.
We are so thankful to the ISPCA for saving them from the conditions they were living in and for providing the correct rehabilitation for them before they could come home with us.
We are so grateful to them for bringing our best friends into our lives. We really recommend adopting a dog from the ISPCA.”
