ISPCA Grateful for Funding Allocation to Support Animal Welfare in 2025

ISPCA thanks Minister McConalogue and DAFM for vital animal welfare funding.

The ISPCA would like to extend our gratitude to Minister Charlie McConalogue and his Department for this year’s allocation of funding, and for their commitment protecting the well-being of all animals in Ireland.

It has been another challenging year for the ISPCA rescuing, rehabilitating and responsibly rehoming neglected and cruelly treated animals and this vital funding will make a significant difference to the ISPCA’s work throughout 2025. The allocated funding of €1,207,475 is made up of €931,750 to support our National Animal Centre in Longford, €65,175 for our Equine Rescue Centre in Cork, €32,400 for our Animal Rehabilitation Centre in Donegal, €54,400 for ISPCA Waterford and €123,750 for the ISPCA Centre in Wicklow.

This grant is particularly timely, as the need for funding has never been greater and will significantly contribute to the increasing costs and additional demands on our services.

Our Mission is that through education, legislation and ongoing support, we can prevent cruelty to all animals.
