From Rescue to Relaxed: Catelyn’s Story

This week's Happy Tail is from Steve who adopted Catelyn 2 years ago.

This week's Happy Tail is from Steve who adopted Catelyn 2 years ago.

Here is how Catelyn is getting on:

“This is Catelyn (originally adopted as Carolyn), who joined my life a little over a year ago. I adopted her after losing one of my previous cats to intestinal cancer, which was an incredibly difficult time. Welcoming Catelyn into my home helped heal that loss in ways I didn’t expect.

Like many rescue cats, she needed time, patience and understanding before fully trusting her new surroundings. Earning her trust took work, but it has been more than worth it. Once she settled, Catelyn showed just how affectionate and loving she truly is.

As you can see from the photos, she now spends her days relaxed and content curled up on her favourite scratcher or tucked away in her cosy hideaway bed, watching the world with calm confidence. She has made herself completely at home and brings comfort and companionship every single day.

Rescue animals may take a little longer to settle, but the bond that grows from that patience is incredibly special. I would wholeheartedly recommend adopting a cat or dog rather than purchasing from a breeder, the love you receive in return is truly something special.”

We would like to give a huge thank you to Steve, for giving us this wonderful update on how Catelyn is getting on! 💙
