Donna living her best life with her forever family

Today's Happy Tail is from Paul who adopted Donna back in October 2022.

Do you remember our “Old School Bachelor Farmer” rescue case? We are more than happy to share that one of the pups, Donna, is now living very happily with Paul and his family.

Here is how Donna is getting on at her Forever Home:

“We agreed to foster Donna for a couple of weeks in October 2022. Within a few hours of her coming home we knew we were not letting her go.

Donna was very nervous when she came to us. Over time she has gained confidence and is such a key member of our family now. She loves her walks, trips in the car and keeping us company in the evenings.

Donna loves to meet other dogs, the bigger the better. She is very clever watching all our routines and knowing who will give her the next treat. She gives everyone a great welcome home. Loud noises and hoovers are not a problem. Donna is nervous around footballs and people she does not know. Once she gets to know you all is well.

Recently she has started to play with a tennis ball in the garden which is great fun to be part of. We would be lost without her.

It is fantastic work that you do in the ISPCA and we encourage everyone to adopt a pet.”

We would like to give a huge thank you to Paul for sending us this lovely update on how Donna is getting on!

Would you be ready to welcome a new furrever family member into your home? We also have lots of wonderful dogs and puppies, cats and kittens, horses, ponies and donkeys; and rabbits, ready to meet you. Please consider adopting and visit https://ispca.ie/adoptions
