Here’s how they’re both getting on at their Forever Homes!
Callie the horse’s Happy Tail:
“I adopted Callie (previously known as Carrie) in June and in a nutshell I ❤️ her….
She is the kindest mare I’ve had in the yard and is so eager to learn she is a pleasure to be schooling. After 3 weeks of her coming to me I took her to a dressage show where I was only going to get her out and about and used to going places, she took it all in her stride and even bagged ourselves 6th place out of 11 competitors!
She is showing real ability over poles and her jumping is coming along nicely, and our aim is to do a few training shows over the autumn/winter to get mileage up before competing next year.
She is eager to learn and absolutely loves going places.
I’m really looking forward to our future 😊”
Tye the dog’s Happy Tail:
“We adopted Tye in April of this year, and what can I say, he is such a good boy in every way.
When we first brought him home he was so nervous of everything, from the TV to the general household noises, but immediately went to his new little human best friend for reassurance, and since then their friendship has gotten stronger and stronger.
Over the last few months, Tye’s personality has really come through, and he is such a character, and he is getting to live his puppy life, which he was denied of before the ISPCA saved him.
He now can play and have the freedom he deserves, and takes his job of herd supervisor with the horses very seriously 😅 he is still a little shy around strangers but is improving with everyone he meets.
We are delighted to have him in our lives and he truly is a best friend to his little human ❤️”
We would like to give a huge thank you to Brenda for adopting both Callie & Tye from us and sending on this gorgeous update of how they’re both getting on.
