At the ISPCA, we are incredibly grateful for the dedication and generosity of our corporate partners, whose support helps us create a better environment for the animals in our care. One recent project that truly embodies the spirit of corporate volunteering is the stunning mural completed by PA Consulting at our Wicklow Centre.
This was no small feat—PA Consulting’s team had to make four separate trips to the shelter to complete the mural due to weather conditions and staff schedules. Despite these challenges, they remained patient, persistent, and committed, working closely with our Wicklow Shelter staff to bring the project to life.
Not only did they invest their time and talent, but they also provided all the necessary materials, including paints, brushes, rollers, and other tools needed to complete the mural. Their generosity didn’t stop there—on top of their artistic contribution, they also donated an additional €600 worth of essential equipment to the shelter. This included much-needed radiators, heat lamps, leads, and collars, all of which will have a direct impact on the comfort and care of our animals.
Corporate volunteering like this showcases the incredible difference that businesses can make when they step up to support animal welfare. It’s more than just a day of volunteering—it’s a meaningful and lasting contribution that enhances the well-being of our rescue animals and improves the shelter environment for staff and visitors alike.
A huge thank you to PA Consulting for their dedication, generosity, and for bringing some extra colour and warmth to our Wicklow Shelter. If your company would like to get involved in a corporate volunteering project with the ISPCA, we’d love to hear from you!
Together, we can create a brighter future for Ireland’s most vulnerable animals.
