About Rex & Meg

Live with another dog: Pending successful meet & greet

Live with a cat: No

Live with children: Yes

Meg and Rex are a wonderful 2½-year-old duo who are looking for a loving home together. These two are the very best of friends and are incredibly attached to one another, so we are hoping to find a family who can welcome them both and keep their special bond intact.

They are being rehomed through no fault of their own, and while they are not currently on site, we are accepting applications now and will arrange meets with suitable homes.

Both dogs are fantastic companions — they are great with children, good with other dogs, and love being part of a family home environment. They enjoy their walks, adore their toys, and have lovely manners. They have great recall, will sit, give paw, and are gentle when taking treats. They are also happy to wait patiently until called.

Rex is the calmer of the pair. He enjoys his own space but is happiest when his people are nearby. He is a very kind and gentle boy, protective of his family and especially fond of children.

Meg is a little more energetic and full of life. She’s a clever girl who loves to play and really enjoys training, making her a great partner for anyone who enjoys engaging with their dog.

Together, Meg and Rex make a beautiful team — full of love, loyalty, and fun. If you’re looking for a ready-made pair of wonderful companions, these two could be the perfect addition to your family. 💛

The Process

The adoption process at the ISPCA is designed to ensure the best possible match between animals and their prospective adopters.

Step One
Contact us

Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can complete an application form online, directly from the animal page.

Step Two
Get all the info

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Step Three
Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four
Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five
Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
