Mitzi is a sweet girl who is still newly rescued and learning to trust others. She has a very gentle temperament but would have had very little human socialisation up until she was rescued. She is getting much better at walking on the lead but is still a work in progress. She is currently finding the kennels very overwhelming and while she finds comfort in her quiet kennel, she is easily frightened in the large open spaces especially with so many noises or smells. She is showing great interest in other dogs and really perks up when with a friend, and ideally she would go home where there is another dog.
She is looking for an experienced person who is used to rescue animals to adopt her. She will need a very secured garden as she is easily spooked until she gets used to someone. She likes smaller enclosed spaces and feels her safest in them. She has wonderful potential in a quiet area where she can form a strong bond with her family. She has also been spayed and vaccinated.
If you think you could offer Mitzi a loving, patient home please fill in an application form below or if you have any questions relating to adoption of dogs or wish to arrange an appointment to meet them, please call us on 087 995 0458 alternatively email [email protected].
