About Milo Saluki Cross

Aged between 4 and 5 years, Milo is a good-looking brindle-coloured, male, Saluki Cross. He is a nervous type of dog who could easily be spooked so he needs an adult/teenage home who will understand that a little patience is needed and not rough play. Quite shy at first to strangers who approach, he will evade immediate contact but is not at all aggresive or barky. Perhaps he has had a troubled past. Milo is a gentle soul who benefits from the support of another dog. He had shared at our Shelter with Karly, a female lurcher, and was very happy and at ease in her company. He is currently in a foster home where he is making great progress.  He is a lovely dog to take for a walk as he’s so gentle on his lead. We think he is very deserving of a quiet, happy home and will be a wonderful pet.

Milo has been neutered, is microchipped 972274200397666, has been vaccinated and received the usual preventative flea/worm treatments.

The Process

The adoption process at the ISPCA is designed to ensure the best possible match between animals and their prospective adopters.

Step One
Contact us

Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can complete an application form online, directly from the animal page.

Step Two
Get all the info

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Step Three
Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four
Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five
Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
