About Coco

Coco is a wonderful girl who is looking for a home to finally call her own after being rescued in 2022. Coco has come a long way since being rescued. She has made various friends throughout her time, made the front of the ISPCA 2025 calander and has taught us lots about her personality. She’s a typical hound so she loves sniffing on walks, swimming, playing with her doggy friends and meeting new people. She can be a little bit of an escape artist and will need an extra secured garden where she won’t be left unsupervised for long periods of time.

She has unfortunately been let down time and time again with visits and has watched two of her best doggy friends recently head to their new homes. She can live with another dog who won’t let her boss them about and is quite gentle with people. She is fully vaccinated and spayed. Coco just wants someone who has lots of time to give her to give her a chance. She can be a little strong on the lead when she first gets going but settles in as time goes on.

If you think you could provide Coco with a loving home please fill in an application, or for more information call 0879950458 or email [email protected]. More photos and videos are available on request.

The Process

The adoption process at the ISPCA is designed to ensure the best possible match between animals and their prospective adopters.

Step One
Contact us

Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can complete an application form online, directly from the animal page.

Step Two
Get all the info

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Step Three
Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four
Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five
Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
