About Betty

If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts wild child and cuddlebug, Betty might just be your perfect match! This fun-loving lurcher lives life in the fast lane, she lives for chasing balls, splashing in the water, and showing off her signature high-speed zoomies! Betty’s been in ISPCA care for over a year now, and while we absolutely adore her zest for life, we know she deserves a forever home where she can truly thrive. She’s got a big personality and even bigger heart! She’s confident, enthusiastic, and not afraid to show it. Potential adopters can expect excited greetings, and a dog who’s always ready for action. Betty can be a bit over-the-top when playing with other dogs however it’s all in good fun, but her style of play is definitely “rough and rowdy,” so she’d need any doggy friends to be confident and up for her energy. If you’ve got a sense of adventure and a love for lively lurchers, Betty’s ready to race her way into your heart (and onto your couch after a long day of fun).

She is spayed, vaccinated and ready to find her forever home!

If you think Betty could be the perfect fit for your family please fill in an application form or for more information call 0879950458 or email [email protected]

The Process

The adoption process at the ISPCA is designed to ensure the best possible match between animals and their prospective adopters.

Step One
Contact us

Contact the member society or animal centre and arrange to visit them. To save time you can complete an application form online, directly from the animal page.

Step Two
Get all the info

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Step Three
Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four
Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five
Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
