About Astro (Applications Closed)

Astro is only 5 months old and is a Malinois/Rottweiler Cross. Small for his age, he is not expected to grow to be a very large dog. Currently in a great foster home, we’re told Astro is affectionate, goofy, playful and loving. The little helmet he wears in the photo is worn while he travels in a carrier on an e-scooter! We are looking for an active home for Astro to keep him mentally and physically exercised. A home with another dog would probably work very well (subject to a successful meet & greet) for Astro but most essential is a home with somebody there for the most part of the day as he is still so young.

The member society or animal centre will give you information on adopting an animal, including the cost, and can help you fill out the right forms.

Meet him/her

Following an assessment to match you with the right pet, you can meet the animals and reserve the animal you like.

Step Four

Show us around

A home visit will then be carried out to check your home is suitable for the pet you have chosen.

Step Five

Welcome your new best friend

When all the paperwork and checks are complete – you can take your new pet home! A follow up visit is usually carried out to make sure you and your new pet are happy!
