A Generous Gift for Cork Shelter This Christmas

John Paul Construction's donation of an insulated container helps ISPCA Cork Shelter secure vital supplies and support animals this winter.

John Paul Construction's donation of an insulated container helps ISPCA Cork Shelter secure vital supplies and support animals this winter.

This festive season, the ISPCA has been overwhelmed by the incredible support from our corporate community, and we’re thrilled to share a particularly heartwarming act of kindness! A massive thank you to John Paul Construction, especially John Keaveney and Caolán MacLoingsigh, for donating a fabulous 20ft x 10ft insulated container to our Cork shelter.

This isn’t just any container—it’s an office-style unit equipped with a heater and an anti-vandal window, making it perfect for safely storing essential food supplies and medications. As we brace ourselves for the harsh winter months, this container will be an invaluable asset, ensuring our supplies stay dry, secure, and protected from those curious little rodents looking for a winter snack.

At the ISPCA, our mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome animals across Ireland relies heavily on community support, and it’s truly inspiring to see companies like John Paul Construction stepping up to help. Their generous contribution reflects the incredible impact the corporate sector can have on animal welfare, especially during the holiday season.
This thoughtful donation allows us to focus on what we do best—caring for Ireland’s most vulnerable animals—and ensures we’re well-prepared to meet their needs no matter how frosty the weather gets.

We are so grateful to feel the warmth of your support, John Paul Construction. It’s acts of kindness like this that remind us why we do what we do. From all of us at the ISPCA (and the many wagging tails and purring hearts in our care), THANK YOU for helping us make this Christmas a little brighter for animals in need.
